Long Time Coming…
Well everyone… sorry to have been gone so long but we’ve been spending time spreading the word about Driven Scholars!!! We are getting closer and closer to our official launch date. Our first scheduled meet and greet is set for June 7th 2008. We plan on having a sign up sheet to get an approximate number of expected students whom wish to participate in the upcoming book club. So far we’ve passed out 50 flyer’s between school, local libraries, and our church trying to get as many young readers involved as possible. Also on our myspace page there is more info. as well so be sure to check it out.
The first video will be an original video of the very first meet and greet so everyone will have a chance to see it as if you where actually there!!! How exciting is that. During the first meet we plan on electing officers and a rotation sheet so that everyone thats wants a chance at being an active officer will have an opportunity. We have so many exciting ideas and also a little treat for all that register to become active members. So please bare with us as we continue our new venture, and be sure to check back often.
